Despite wanting a completely new web site, at the core PCFMA wanted a way to provide the simplest and quickest ways for users to find their market. The new site does just that. It's easy to find your market and save it for a customized homepage experience. Once you've found your market, PCFMA is trying to take a Farm to Fork approach in providing information on the farmers in attendance and where their products are produced.

Each market homepage contains integrated social plugins and API's to pull in the most recent information for that specific market.

The custom backend allows the PCFMA team to interface with the CMS and adjust all Markets, Farmers, and Recipes with the click of a button.

PCFMA creates economic opportunities through thriving certified farmers’ markets. Selling directly to consumers rather than wholesalers, middlemen or processors is good for local farmers, too. They retain a larger percentage of income, helping the farm remain viable. PCFMA works exclusively with California farmers and only California-grown products are sold at our Certified Farmers’ Markets.
